Naina Khan

One of my favorite Model Naina Khan, the important thing is that she listens to me at the shoot and try to understand what I want from her. I think this is the most important quality for a great shoot a model can have.

Pink it's my new obsession
Pink it's not even a question,
Pink on the lips of your lover, 'cause
Pink is the love you discover . . .

Thirak Utsav

Aditi Mangaldas
Aditi Mangaldas - We attain this kind of effect in photography by using the slow shutter speed or you can say long exposure technique.
Jaipur, 11 December: The 3 day ‘Thirak Utsav’ concluded on a high note today at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. with power packed dance performances that left the audience in awe. The day commenced with a symposium in which the guest speakers shared the teachings of their Gurus as well as their contribution in the arena of Kathak.

Padma Vibhushan Uma Sharma from New Delhi spoke on ‘Contribution of Guru Sundar Prasad’; Guru Sushmita Mishra & Kajal Mishra from Kolkata on ‘Contribution of Guru Pt. Jaylal & Pt. Ramgopal’; Guru Pannalal Kathan from Ganganagar, Dr. Rekha Thakar & Sangeeta Singhal from Jaipur on ‘Contribution of Guru Gauri Shankar’ and Pt. Rajkumar Javda from Jaipur on Contribution of Guru Kanhaiyalal Javda’. The session was moderated by Guru Prerana Shrimali from New Delhi.

Later in the evening JKK’s Rangayan Auditorium witnessed an enchanting ‘Sattriya’ dance performance by Anwesa Mahanta. The theme of her performance today was ‘Narsingh Leela’. She started with ‘Sudh Nritya’ – ‘Ramdani’ followed by ‘Geetor Nach’ (the pure form of dance), which has both the nature of ‘Male’ and ‘Female’.

This was followed by a gripping Kathak dance by Ms. Aditi Mangaldas. Her performance – ‘Widening Circles’ -- was based on the concept of ‘pratityasamutpada’ or interdependent co-arising. The performance was presented in three parts – ‘The Sun’, ‘The Earth’ and ‘The Moon’. Through the metaphor of the blossoming lotus that connects to the ever widening circles of life, Aditi Magaldas tried to explore the concept of pratityssamutpada. Her dance presentation reflected on the fact that everything in the universe is interlinked and connected. She was accompanied by Mohit Gangani on Tabla, Faraz Ahmad on Vocals and Harmonium, Ashish Gangani on Pakhawaj and Amir Khan on Sarangi.
