CoronaVirus Pandemic - Lock down and 10 Black and White Portraits of My Wife, Jaipur.

The Chaos of Coronavirus started in India from the starting of March 2020. On 7march when I was coming from Kolkata to Jaipur it hit me hard when I saw Majority of passengers were wearing mask at the airport and in the flight. The information about the Coronavirus was less and fear was more, if someone was coughing or sneezing in the flight people were looking at him or her like he is surely a positive case of Coronavirus. Anyhow the panic increased day by day and a new term Social Distancing got introduced in our life. Initially from 11th March 2020 we ourselves started practicing Social Distancing and Isolation. On 22nd March came the “Janta Curfew” for one day by the Government of India then on 24th March 2020 came the announcement of complete country lockdown by the Government of India under The Leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

One Interesting thing I realized is that if you are passionate about something and you are free to do it then no matter if you are in Lockdown or Lockup or Wherever but you will never be bored. So I was stuck at home and had no models or subjects or street to go and click portraits. . . . then an idea came to me and I made my family members my subject. In this post I am sharing 10 selected Black and White Portraits of my Wife which I had took from 12th March 2020 till Now.
