10 Street Photography Shots from the Streets of Jaipur on the 58th day of India Lockdown.

Yesterday was the 58th day of India Lockdown and the Day started with me waking up and finally deciding enough is enough, there were lot of pending work which were needed to be done urgently. So after having heavy lunch I headed toward completing the works at the different locations of the city “With all the Proper Precautions” and accompanied with my Camera. Street photography while completing your pending work is one of my favorite things.

One thing I realized from Yesterday’s Street photography is that everything is changed and I think Street photography will never going to be the same again. For example before this Corona Virus chaos when I use to do Street Photography many of the times I use to comfort my subject with my eyes and smile only and when I use to see from the face expression of my subject that he or she is relaxed I use to execute my shot. But today me and my subjects both were covered under the face mask most of the time. From the expression of the guy under the Coca Cola Umbrella in the first picture I can clearly see that he was annoyed that why am I clicking his Picture? He had not been able to see my thanking smile which I later realized was covered under the face mask. The style in which I use to take Street Portraits will also change because prior to Corona Virus chaos I use to emphasis on the face and eyes expression while clicking Street Portraits. Now this Face Mask which will be a part of everyone's dressing will always come in between.

Yes life finds a way and so will be the Street Photographers.

  11. Manav, those are some pictures! I wonder when we can look back and say, "remember.."?
Remember how technology was the only way to meet family, remember how the Nieces fought on talking to you via phone/chat/video whatever?

    Great docu you made.

To Henry. I come from the City of Henry The Lion.
The Duke Henry, who built this town is long gone, but his Lion is still here, standing proud. He has many siblings here, male and female and if you find one and like to add, just send him or her over (flaviakaiser@gm.de) :-)
    Henry welcomes them all!
